Randy is a husband, a father, a Christian, a successful small businessman, a farmer, and a strong conservative Republican. Randy's roots run deep in East Alabama. He and his wife of more than four decades, Oline, live in Opelika where they live on the same family farm that has been in the family for six generations. The farm was recently named a Century and Heritage Farm by the Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries. It is on this farm where you will find Randy, Oline, and the rest of the family tending to the Hereford cattle and commercial goats they raise.
They are active members of the First United Methodist Church of Opelika. Heavily involved in the community, Randy serves on the Lee County Farmers Federation Board of Directors, Third District Congressman Mike Rogers’ Agricultural Advisory Committee and is a member of the Lee County Public Building Authority and the Lee County Cattlemen’s Association. He is the former Chairman of the Lee County Republican Executive Committee and the has served on the Alabama Republican State Executive Committee as well.
He and Oline have two sons, Cameron and Hunter. Hunter is married to the former Lisa Collins of Opelika, and they have a daughter, Brooklyn, and a son, Walton.
